Scope
This part of GB/T 25117 applies to combined systems consisting of DC motors, choppers, and their control systems. Its purpose is to specify:
——The performance characteristics of electric drive systems composed of choppers, DC motors, and related control systems;
——Test methods for verifying these performance characteristics.
In traction drive systems, there is a combined system consisting of choppers and DC motors, in which there is no control device between the mechanical output of the combined system and the chopper. Since this type of combined system is not common, it is not considered in this part.
