GB/T 25122.1-2010 Railway applications—Power convertors installed on board rolling stock—Part 1:Characteristics and test methods
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 25122 specifies the terms and definitions, usage conditions, general characteristics, and test methods for power electronic converters used in locomotives and rolling stock.
This part applies to power electronic converters used to supply power to the traction circuits and auxiliary circuits of locomotives and rolling stock (such as electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, EMUs, passenger cars, and trailers).
This part also applies to power electronic converters used in other traction locomotives and rolling stock (such as trams, metros, and urban rail transit vehicles).
This part applies to complete converter units and their configurations, including:
——Semiconductor device assemblies;
——Integrated cooling systems;
——Components of the intermediate DC link, including filters connected to the DC link;
——Semiconductor drive units (SDU) and related sensors;
——Protection circuits.
This part does not apply to converters that provide electrical control power for the semiconductor drive units (SDU) and other equipment (such as sensors) related to the operation of the converter.
The electronic control devices of the converter, sensors unrelated to the semiconductor drive units (SDU), and the printed circuit board assemblies of the semiconductor drive units (SDU) shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 25119.
This part does not apply to electric vehicles or low-voltage or low-power converters specified in GB/T 25119.
The following types of power supply sources shall be considered:
——AC overhead contact lines;
——DC overhead contact lines;
——On-board power sources (such as generators, batteries, and other power sources).
Note: In this part, the terms "user" and "manufacturer" refer to the two parties in the contract.
