Scope

This document describes the methods for determining dissolved oxygen in industrial circulating cooling water, boiler feedwater, and condensate water.
In this document, the iodine method is suitable for determining the mass concentration of dissolved oxygen in industrial circulating cooling water ranging from 0.2 mg/L to 8 mg/L (calculated as O2); the internal electrolysis method is suitable for determining the mass concentration of dissolved oxygen in boiler feedwater and condensate water ranging from 2 μg/L to 100 μg/L (calculated as O2); and the oxygen electrode method is suitable for determining the mass concentration of dissolved oxygen in industrial circulating cooling water and boiler water greater than 0.1 μg/L (calculated as O2).
