Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation, and quality certificates of needle coke derived from oil.
This standard applies to pre-calcined needle coke and post-calcined needle coke produced from heavy oil containing aromatic hydrocarbons through raw material pretreatment and delayed coking. These products can be used as raw materials for graphite electrodes, lithium-ion battery anode materials, and special carbon products.
