Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for needle coke derived from coal. This standard applies to needle coke made from coal tar as the raw material, which is produced through raw material pretreatment and delayed coking equipment, and then calcined at high temperatures. It can be used as a raw material for high-power, ultra-high-power graphite electrodes, special carbon, and other products.
