本文件描述了4种测定热塑性材料维卡软化温度（VST）的方法：
——A50法：负荷为10 N，加热速率为50 ℃/h；
——B50法：负荷为50 N，加热速率为50 ℃/h；
——A120法：负荷为10 N，加热速率为120 ℃/h；
——B120法：负荷为50 N，加热速率为120 ℃/h。
本文件规定的4种方法仅适用于热塑性塑料，所测得的是热塑性塑料迅速软化的温度。
