Scope

This part of GB/T 18340 specifies the mass spectrometry analysis method, quantitative calculation, and precision requirements for saturated hydrocarbon fractions in petroleum heavy distillates.
This part is applicable to the quantitative analysis of seven saturated hydrocarbons and one aromatic hydrocarbon fraction in petroleum heavy distillates (with a boiling range of 205 °C to 540 °C). The samples do not contain olefins, and the aromatic hydrocarbon content is less than 5%.
