Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions for the treatment and disposal of waste liquids in the processing of waste batteries, the methods for treating and disposing of electrolyte solutions, and the methods for treating and disposing of waste liquids generated during the reuse of metal ions. It also sets out environmental protection and safety requirements. This standard applies to the treatment and disposal of waste liquids in the recycling of waste batteries (only referring to waste lithium-ion batteries and waste nickel-metal hydride batteries).
