Scope
This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for high-carbon chromium stainless bearing steel.
This standard applies to hot-rolled (forged), cold-drawn, peeled, and polished round steel with a nominal diameter of 5 mm to 160 mm, disc bars with a nominal diameter of 5 mm to 40 mm, and round steel wires with a nominal diameter of 1 mm to 16 mm (hereinafter referred to as "steel").
