GB 10395.5-2013 Agricultural and forestry machinery—Safety—Part 5:Power-driven soil-working machines
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB 10395 is used in conjunction with GB 10395.1. It specifies the structural safety requirements and determination methods for agricultural suspension, semi-suspension, and traction power-driven soil cultivation machinery. It also stipulates the types of safety operation (including residual risks) information that manufacturers should provide.
The major hazards covered by this part (listed in Appendix A) and the dangerous states and events are related to the use of power-driven cultivation machinery under conditions foreseeable by manufacturers (see Chapter 4).
This part does not apply to:
—— digging machines;
—— machines equipped with retractable devices capable of continuously working between crops.
This part does not include environmental hazards and electromagnetic compatibility, nor does it include hazards related to power transmission moving parts and professional maintenance of machinery, except for the requirements for the strength of protective devices and barriers.
Note 1: This part does not address the hazard regulations related to road traffic management.
Note 2: In the case of suspension, semi-suspension, and traction machinery, vibration is not considered a major hazard.
This part does not apply to power-driven cultivation machinery produced before the promulgation of this part.
