GB/T 10395.5-2021 Agricultural machinery—Safety—Part 5:Power-driven soil-working machines

Scope

This document specifies the structural safety requirements and determination methods for agricultural machinery with powered driving systems, including suspension-type, semi-suspension-type, and traction-type soil cultivation machinery. It also stipulates the types of safety operation (including residual risks) information that manufacturers should provide.
The major hazards covered by this document (listed in Appendix A) and the dangerous states and events are related to the use of powered cultivation machinery under conditions foreseeable by manufacturers (see Chapter 4).
This document does not apply to:
——Bulldozers;
——Machines equipped with retractable devices capable of continuously working between crops.
This document does not include environmental hazards, nor does it include hazards related to power transmission moving parts and professional maintenance of machinery, except for the requirements for the strength of protective devices and barriers.
Note 1: This document does not address hazards related to road traffic management.
Note 2: For suspension, semi-suspension, and traction-type machinery, this document does not list vibration as a major hazard.
This document does not apply to powered cultivation machinery produced before its promulgation.
If the requirements of this document differ from those of ISO 4254-1, the requirements of this document shall take precedence over those of ISO 4254-1 for machines designed and manufactured in accordance with the provisions of this document.
