Scope
This standard specifies the tolerances, machining allowances, and technical specifications of steel forging parts (hereinafter referred to as "forgings").
This standard applies to structural steel forging parts produced by forging equipment such as forging hammers, hot forging presses, screw presses, and flat forging machines. Forgings made from other types of steel can also be used as a reference. This standard applies to forgings with a weight of less than or equal to 500 kg and a length (maximum dimension) of less than or equal to 2,500 mm.
