Scope
The general requirements of the GB/T 4214 series standards apply to household and similar-purpose appliances powered by the grid or batteries, including their accessories and components.
Unless otherwise specified in the special requirements of the GB/T 4214 series standards, similar-purpose use can be understood as use under conditions similar to those in the home environment, such as in small hotels, cafes, tea rooms, hotels, barbershops, and laundries.
This document applies to humidifiers for household and similar-purpose use with a rated voltage of not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and a rated voltage of not more than 480 V for other appliances.
This document does not apply to:
—— Humidifiers designed specifically for industrial use;
—— Humidifiers intended for use in special environments with frequently present corrosive and explosive gases (such as dust, steam, or gas);
—— Humidifiers with medical purposes.
For other appliances with humidification functions, the noise test for the humidification function can be used as a reference.
