Scope
The general requirements of the GB/T 4214 series of standards apply to household and similar-purpose appliances powered by the grid or batteries, including their accessories and components.
Unless otherwise specified in the special requirements of the GB/T 4214 series of standards, similar-purpose use can be understood as use under conditions similar to those in the home environment, such as in small hotels, cafes, tea rooms, hotels, barber shops, and laundries.
This document applies to oral hygiene appliances for household and similar-purpose use with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V.
Note 101: This document applies to:
—— Oral irrigators;
—— Electric toothbrushes.
Note 102: For oral hygiene appliances intended for use in vehicles, ships, or aircraft, this document can be referenced.
This document does not apply to oral hygiene appliances with medical functions.
