GB/T 15969.2-2008 Programmable controllers—Part 2:Equipment requirements and tests
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 15969 specifies the requirements and relevant tests for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their associated peripheral equipment (e.g., programming and debugging tools (PADTs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), etc.), which are used for the control and command of machinery and industrial processes according to their intended use. PLCs and their associated peripheral equipment are designed for use in industrial environments and may be provided as open or closed devices. If PLCs or their associated peripheral equipment are to be used in other environments (e.g., light industry, commerce, or residential applications), special requirements, standards, and installation guidelines applicable to such other environments must also be applied to the PLCs and their associated peripheral equipment. This part also applies to any products that perform the functions of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and/or their associated peripheral equipment.
