Scope
This part of GB/T 7233 specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, and methods of applying pulse reflection technology to detect internal defects in high-pressure cast steel components (non-austenitic).
This part is applicable to ultrasonic testing of high-pressure cast steel components (non-austenitic) after grain refinement heat treatment and with a thickness not exceeding 600 mm. For cast steel components with a thickness greater than 600 mm, the detection method and recording limits should be specified in an agreement.
This part is not applicable to austenitic steel.
