Scope

This standard specifies the information verification, requirements, testing and inspection, delivery preparation, marking, packaging, and storage of metering pumps (hereinafter referred to as "pumps"). This standard applies to piston metering pumps and diaphragm metering pumps that transport liquids with a temperature range of -30 °C to 150 °C and a viscosity range of 0.3 mm2/s to 2,000 mm2/s. Piston metering pumps that transport liquids containing solid particles are not applicable to this standard.
