Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for multi-layer thermoplastic (non-vulcanized) hoses and hose assemblies used for conveying hydrocarbons, solvents, and chemicals, with a nominal inner diameter of 25 mm to 300 mm, a working pressure of 0.4 MPa to 2.5 MPa, and a working temperature range of -30 ℃ to +150 ℃ in eight types.
Type 1 hoses are suitable for conveying gases;
Types 2 to 8 hoses are suitable for conveying liquid substances.
Note 1: For the selection of materials for the inner lining and the coating layer of the metal wire in hoses and/or hose assemblies used for conveying chemicals, please refer to Appendix A.
Note 2: When considering the use of hoses with polymer-coated metal wires for conveying low-conductivity hydrocarbons and chemicals, it is best to consult the manufacturer.
This standard does not apply to hoses and hose assemblies used for the following purposes:

—— Liquefied petroleum gas and liquefied natural gas (see ISO 27127);
