Scope

This part of GB/T 1147 specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for medium- and low-power internal combustion engines. This part is applicable to medium- and low-power internal combustion engines used in road vehicles, ships, agricultural tractors, forestry machinery, construction machinery, generator sets, and irrigation and drainage machinery (hereinafter referred to as "internal combustion engines"). Other medium- and low-power internal combustion engines for which there are currently no suitable standards available may also be implemented in accordance with this standard.
