Scope

This document specifies the test and acceptance standards for the ejection of debris from rotary mowers used in agricultural machinery.
This document applies to rotary mowers, as exemplified in Appendix A, Section A.1.
This document does not apply to the following models (examples are provided in Appendix A, Section A.2):
—— Flail mowers;
—— Mowers equipped with articulated arms;
—— Mowers designed for mulching with one or more vertical shafts;
—— Walk-behind electric mowers;
—— Horticultural lawn mowers;
—— Inter-row mowing units;
—— Rotary mowers designed solely for highway and road maintenance.
Note 1: If the mower can also be used for non-agricultural operations, it must meet the requirements of this document in addition to other ejection test requirements.
Note 2: The ejection test and acceptance standards for flail mowers are specified in GB/T 25396.2.
Note 3: The ejection test and acceptance standards for rotary mowers with cutting elements larger than 1,000 mm in diameter are specified in GB/T 10395.26.
