Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, mechanical hazards and risks, risk assessment, clothing design, materials and structures, production, materials, inspection and testing of clothing, packaging, labeling, and display for infants, toddlers, and children aged 14 and under.
This standard applies to the design and production of clothing worn by infants, toddlers, and children aged 14 and under, and it is recommended to start applying it from the design stage.
This standard does not apply to the following aspects:
——Children's care products, such as bibs, diapers, and pacifier clips;
——Shoes, boots, and similar items;
——Items sold with clothing, such as toys;
——Functional clothing designed to meet the special needs of children.
