Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for water quality in water supply, the requirements for water source quality, water quality testing and monitoring, and water quality safety regulations.
This standard applies to urban public centralized water supply, self-built facility water supply, and secondary water supply.
Urban public centralized water supply enterprises, self-built facility water supply and secondary water supply units shall ensure that the water quality within their water supply and management scope meets the water quality requirements specified in this standard. The water quality at the user's water intake points shall also comply with the water quality requirements specified in this standard.
