Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, naming and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product marking, qualification certificates, user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage of aluminum alloy doors and windows. This standard applies to windows and pedestrian doors used for external walls and interior partitions of buildings, as well as vertical roof windows, which are operated manually. Wall doors and windows, as well as vertical skylights that are not operated manually, can be used for reference. This standard does not apply to skylights, non-vertical roof windows, rolling shutter doors and windows, and revolving doors. This standard does not apply to special doors and windows such as fire-resistant doors and windows, escape doors and windows, smoke exhaust windows, and radiation shielding doors and windows.
