GB/T 34590.3-2022 Road vehicles—Functional safety—Part 3:Concept phase

Scope

This document specifies the requirements for vehicles in the concept stage, including: -- Definition of related items; -- Hazard analysis and risk assessment; -- Functional safety concept. This document applies to safety-related systems containing one or more electrical/electronic systems installed on mass-produced road vehicles except for light motorcycles. This document does not apply to specific electrical/electronic systems on special-purpose vehicles, such as those designed for disabled drivers. Note: Other dedicated safety standards can be used as supplements to this document, and vice versa. Systems and their components that have already completed production release or are being developed before the date of this document's publication are not applicable to this document. When making changes to systems and their components that have already completed production release before the date of this document's publication, this document applies the safety lifecycle activities based on these changes. When integrating systems developed without this document with those developed in accordance with this document, the safety lifecycle activities need to be tailored according to this document. This document targets potential hazards caused by functional abnormalities of safety-related electrical/electronic systems, including those caused by the interaction of these systems. This document does not target hazards related to electric shock, fire, smoke, heat, radiation, toxicity, flammability, reactivity, corrosion, energy release, etc., unless the hazards are directly caused by functional abnormalities of safety-related electrical/electronic systems. This document proposes a framework for functional safety development of safety-related electrical/electronic systems, which aims to integrate functional safety activities into the enterprise-specific development framework.
