GB/T 34590.5-2022 Road vehicles—Functional safety—Part 5:Product development at the hardware level
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the requirements for vehicle product development at the hardware level, including: -- An overview of hardware-level product development; -- Definition of hardware security requirements; -- Hardware design; -- Evaluation of hardware architecture metrics; -- Evaluation of violations of safety objectives due to random hardware failures; -- Hardware integration and verification. This document applies to safety-related systems that include one or more electrical/electronic systems installed on mass-produced road vehicles except for light motorcycles. Note: Other dedicated safety standards may be used as supplements to this document, and vice versa. Systems and their components that have already completed production release or are under development before the date of this document's publication are not applicable to this document. When making changes to systems and their components that have completed production release before the date of this document's publication, this document applies the safety lifecycle activities based on these changes. When integrating systems developed in accordance with this document with systems not developed in accordance with this document, the safety lifecycle activities must be tailored in accordance with this document. This document addresses potential hazards caused by functional abnormalities of safety-related electrical/electronic systems, including those caused by interactions between these systems. This document does not address hazards related to electric shock, fire, smoke, heat, radiation, toxicity, flammability, reactivity, corrosivity, energy release, etc., unless these hazards are directly caused by functional abnormalities of safety-related electrical/electronic systems. This document proposes a framework for functional safety development of safety-related electrical/electronic systems, which aims to integrate functional safety activities into enterprise-specific development frameworks.
