Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of alloy cast sleeves at the ends of steel ropes (hereinafter referred to as cast slings).
This standard applies to alloy cast slings used for lifting or traction with a steel rope diameter of not less than 6 mm.
