Scope

This standard specifies the designation method of ultra-low carbon high boron steel hot-rolled wire rods, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to ultra-low carbon high boron steel hot-rolled wire rods (hereinafter referred to as wire rods) with diameters ranging from 3 mm to 60 mm.
