GB/T 18691.5-2011 Agricultural irrigation equipment—Irrigation valves—Part 5:Control valves
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 18691 specifies the design requirements, performance requirements, consistency assessment, marking, and packaging of control valves.
This part is applicable to irrigation systems where the water temperature does not exceed 60 °C, and the water may contain certain types and concentrations of fertilizers or chemicals commonly used in agriculture.
This part is applicable to hydraulically driven irrigation control valves with a nominal size of not less than DN 15. The design working state of the control valve is any position from fully open to fully closed. The valve can be directly operated (for example, by controlling the opening and closing parts with a spring or diaphragm) or pilot-controlled (for example, by controlling the opening and closing parts with an adjustable pilot valve through a diaphragm).
