GB/T 14536.12-2024 Automatic electrical controls—Part 12:Particular requirements for energy regulators
Basic Information
Scope
In general, this document applies to energy regulators used in or with these devices, including those used in heating, air conditioning, and similar applications. The controlled devices may use electricity, gas, oil, solid fuels, solar energy, or a combination of these energy sources.
Note: Energy regulators may operate thermally, mechanically, or electrically.
This document applies to the inherent safety of electrical automatic controllers, to the operating values, operating times, and operating sequences related to device safety, and to the testing of electrical automatic energy regulators used in or with devices.
This document also applies to energy regulators used in appliances within the scope of IEC 60335-1.
The term "device" used in this document includes "appliances and equipment".
This document also applies to automatic energy regulators in publicly accessible devices, such as those used in stores, offices, hospitals, farms, and commercial and industrial applications.
This document does not apply to electrical automatic energy regulators specifically designed for industrial use, unless explicitly mentioned in the device standard.
This document does not apply to equipment specifically within the scope of building automation equipment.
This document also applies to standalone energy regulators used as part of a control system or energy regulators mechanically integrated with multifunctional controllers with no power output.
This document applies to controllers powered by primary or secondary batteries, the requirements of which are included in this document and Appendix V.
