Scope

This section specifies the time-current characteristics of the fuse elements of high-voltage fuses used in motor circuits, the requirements for pulse withstand tests, and guidelines for their selection. This section applies to fuse elements used in motors directly started in AC power systems with a nominal voltage of 3 kV and above and a frequency of 50 Hz. The fuse elements must withstand normal operating conditions and the starting pulses of the motors, and they should meet the requirements of GB/T 15166.2—2008.
