Scope

This document specifies the test system, test environment, test items, test procedures, data processing, and test reports for the thermal performance of marine heat exchangers (hereinafter referred to as heat exchangers).
This document is applicable to the thermal performance tests of various types of marine heat exchangers, including coolers, condensers, and heaters. The thermal performance tests of heat exchange elements can be referenced for use.
This document is not applicable to marine heat exchangers that use toxic, flammable, explosive, highly corrosive fluids, or cryogenic liquids as media.
