GB/T 151-2014 Heat exchangers
GB/T 151-2014 Heat exchangers
Basic Information
Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the general requirements for metal heat exchangers, and stipulates the requirements for the materials, design, manufacture, inspection, acceptance, and installation and use of shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
1.2 The general requirements of this standard apply to shell-and-tube heat exchangers and other structural types of heat exchangers. All contents of this standard apply to shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
1.3 The design pressure applicable to this standard is:
a) The design pressure of shell-and-tube heat exchangers shall not exceed 35 MPa;
b) The design pressure of other structural types of heat exchangers shall be determined according to the corresponding reference standards.
1.4 The design temperature applicable to this standard is:
a) Steel shall not exceed the allowable use temperature range of materials listed in GB 150.2—2011;
b) Other metal materials shall be determined according to the allowable use temperature of materials listed in the corresponding reference standards.
1.5 The nominal diameter applicable to shell-and-tube heat exchangers in this standard shall not exceed 4,000 mm, and the product of the design pressure (MPa) and the nominal diameter (mm) shall not exceed 2.7×104.
1.6 Shell-and-tube heat exchangers exceeding the scope of 1.5 may be constructed in accordance with this standard.
1.7 This standard does not apply to the following heat exchangers:
a) Heat exchangers directly heated by flames;
b) Flue-type residual (waste) heat boilers;
c) Heat exchangers in nuclear energy devices with the risk of neutron radiation damage and failure;
d) Non-metal heat exchangers;
e) Heat exchangers in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry that have national standards or industry standards separately.
1.8 Definition of heat exchangers:
a) Connection of heat exchangers with external pipes:
1) The beveled end face of
