Scope

This standard specifies the definition, classification, and marking of extruded polystyrene (EPS) boards with steel wire mesh frames used in external wall insulation systems (hereinafter referred to as EPS boards), as well as their requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to EPS boards with steel wire mesh frames on both sides or one side, produced by factory automation equipment, which are used in external wall insulation systems of cast-in-place concrete buildings, masonry buildings, and existing buildings. Other types of insulation materials with steel wire mesh frames can refer to this standard for implementation.
