Scope

This part of GB/T 9771 specifies the requirements for the geometry, optics, transmission characteristics, and mechanical and environmental performance of B1.1 class non-dispersion-shifted single-mode optical fibers, and stipulates the measurement methods for fiber characteristics. The zero-dispersion wavelength of this type of fiber is around 1310 nm, and it can be used in the wavelength range of 1310 nm or 1550 nm.
This part is applicable to B1.1 class non-dispersion-shifted single-mode optical fibers used in communication optical cables and other information transmission equipment.
