Scope

This part of GB/T 9771 specifies the requirements for the geometry, optical properties, transmission characteristics, and mechanical and environmental performance of B1.3-class wavelength-extended non-dispersion-shifted single-mode optical fibers, and stipulates the measurement methods for fiber characteristics. The zero-dispersion wavelength of this type of fiber is around 1310 nm. In addition to being used in the wavelength range of 1310 nm and 1550 nm, it also extends to the wavelength range of 1360 nm to 1530 nm.
This part is applicable to B1.3-class single-mode optical fibers used in communication cables and other information transmission equipment.
