GB/T 9771.6-2008 Single-mode optical fibres for telecommunication—Part 6:Characteristics of a fibre with non-zero dispersion for wideband optical transport
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 9771 specifies the requirements for the geometry, optical properties, transmission characteristics, and mechanical and environmental performance of non-zero dispersion single-mode optical fibers for B5 category wide-wavelength optical transmission. It also stipulates the measurement methods for fiber characteristics. This type of fiber maintains non-zero dispersion values across the entire wavelength range of 1,460 nm to 1,625 nm, making it suitable for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) or coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) applications within this wavelength range. This part applies to non-zero dispersion single-mode optical fibers for B5 category wide-wavelength optical transmission used in communication optical cables and other information transmission equipment.
