Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, inspection methods, comparison samples, inspection equipment, inspection conditions and procedures, evaluation of results, and inspection reports for eddy current testing of round steel.
This standard is applicable to the eddy current testing of surface and near-surface defects in round steel (including steel wire) with a diameter of 2 mm to 100 mm.
Other specifications can be implemented in accordance with this standard.
