Scope
This part of GB 10827 specifies the safety requirements and verification methods for the following self-propelled industrial vehicles as defined in ISO 5053 (hereinafter referred to as "vehicles"):
a) counterbalanced forklifts;
b) reach trucks (with extendable masts or forks);
c) side-reach forklifts;
d) pallet stackers;
e) high-lift platform trucks;
f) vehicles with an operating platform height of not more than 1,200 mm;
g) side-reach forklifts (single-sided);
h) side-stacking forklifts (two-sided and three-way);
i) pallet transporters;
j) bidirectional and multidirectional operating forklifts;
k) tractors with a traction force of not more than 20,000N;
l) counterbalanced off-road forklifts;
m) other industrial vehicles powered by batteries, diesel, gasoline, or liquefied petroleum gas.
