Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of modified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) coated biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films, biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET) films, or biaxially oriented polyamide (BOPA) films.
This standard applies to films obtained by coating modified polyvinyl alcohol on a substrate film made of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP), biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET), or biaxially oriented polyamide (BOPA) films, and used as printing or composite substrates.
