Scope

This standard specifies a test plate and a method of using the test plate to check the optical and mechanical performance of 16-mm rotary microfilm cameras.
This test plate and method are suitable for:
——evaluating the performance of microfilm cameras (for example, establishing an initial reference before purchasing);
——acceptance testing (for example, confirming that the technical indicators have been achieved after repair);
——routine inspections (for example, weekly or monthly inspections).
Note: Appendix A gives the characteristics of rotary microfilm cameras.
