GB 19725.2-2014 Agricultural and forestry machinery—Safety requirements and testing for portable hand-held powered brush-cutters and grass-trimmers—Part 2:Machines for use with back-pack power unit
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB 19725 specifies the safety requirements and test methods for portable brushcutters and lawn mowers powered by internal combustion engines and transmitting mechanical power to cutting attachments. It proposes methods to eliminate or reduce various hazards caused by the use of the whole machine, and stipulates the requirements for safety operation-related information provided by manufacturers.
This part and the relevant chapters of Part 1 (see 4.1) cover all serious hazards, dangerous situations, and serious harm events related to the whole machine during normal use and reasonable, manufacturer-foreseeable misuse of the whole machine, except for the whole-body vibration hazard caused by the backpack-type power unit.
Note 1: There are currently no standard test procedures for measuring the whole-body vibration caused by the backpack-type power unit.
Note 2: The list of serious hazards is shown in Appendix A and Appendix A of GB 19725.1-2014.
This part applies to products manufactured after its promulgation and implementation.
This part does not apply to machines equipped with non-integral metal blade structures, such as chainsaw or knife blade blades.
