Scope

This document stipulates the basic requirements for regular inspections of in-use boilers (including residual (waste) heat boilers designed and manufactured according to boiler specifications), including general requirements, external inspections, internal inspections, and water (pressure) testing. The power pipelines connected to the boiler can be inspected regularly together with the boiler, referring to the requirements for pipelines within the boiler scope.
This document applies to the following types of boilers. Other boilers can refer to it for implementation:
a) Pressurized steam boilers with a design normal water volume greater than or equal to 30 L and a rated steam pressure greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa (except for boilers with a design normal water volume less than or equal to 50 L and a rated steam pressure less than or equal to 0.8 MPa);
b) Pressurized hot water boilers with a rated outlet pressure greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa and a rated thermal power greater than or equal to 0.1 MW (except for boilers with a rated outlet pressure less than or equal to 0.4 MPa and a rated outlet temperature less than 95℃);
c) Organic heat carrier boilers with a rated thermal power greater than or equal to 0.1 MW.
Note: All pressures mentioned in this document are gauge pressures.
