Scope

This standard specifies the product performance, technical parameters, and structural forms that should be paid attention to when selecting and using transfer switch electrical appliances (TSEs), as well as the environmental conditions during use.
This standard applies to the selection and use of TSEs with a rated voltage of no more than 1,000 V AC or 1,500 V DC.
TSEs are used for switching between two power sources to ensure continuous power supply to the load, and allow short-term interruptions in power supply to the load during TSE switching.
TSEs can also be used for switching between loads.
