GB/T 34629-2017 Conveyor belts—Determination of minimum pulley diameters
GB/T 34629-2017 Conveyor belts—Determination of minimum pulley diameters
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the calculation method for the minimum diameter of rollers for conveyor belts. This standard applies to rubber or plastic conveyor belts with a fabric core or a metal belt core. These belts have different thicknesses and materials of the belt cores, and can be used under any expected tension, but not exceeding the maximum belt tension (RMBT). This standard does not apply to light conveyor belts specified in HG/T 4601.1. This standard does not apply to conveyor belts with a belt core thickness exceeding 20 mm, or conveyor belts with a rubber or plastic interlayer between the fabric layers exceeding 0.8 mm in thickness. This standard also does not apply to heat-resistant conveyor belts used to transport products at temperatures above 100 °C, or conveyor belts used in environments with temperatures below -40 °C. When the diameter of the rollers is too small relative to the structure of the belt core, it will lead to premature damage to the conveyor belt. Note
