Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency limits, energy-saving evaluation values, and test methods for halogen tungsten lamps used for general lighting in homes and similar settings.
This standard applies to non-directional halogen tungsten lamps used for general lighting with a rated voltage of less than or equal to 24 V and a power range of 5 W to 100 W; and a rated voltage of 220 V to 250 V and a power range of 15 W to 500 W.
This standard does not apply to directional halogen tungsten lamps.
