Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for rapidly quenched neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet powders. This standard applies to isotropic neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet powders produced by single-roll or atomized rapid quenching processes. Among them, single-roll rapidly quenched neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet powders are used in molding, injection molding, extrusion molding, and rolling molding processes to manufacture bonded magnets, while atomized rapidly quenched neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet powders are used in injection molding and extrusion molding processes to manufacture bonded magnets.
