This section specifies the inspection items and requirements for lithium primary batteries to ensure that they operate safely under the expected use and reasonably foreseeable misuse conditions.
Note: Lithium primary batteries that have been standardized in GB/T 8897.2 shall comply with all applicable requirements in this section. It goes without saying that this section can also be used to test and/or ensure the safety of non-standardized lithium primary batteries. However, regardless of the above-mentioned situations, there is no claim or guarantee that batteries that comply with (or do not comply with) the requirements of this section can meet (or fail to meet) any special purposes or needs of users.
