GB/T 38943.2-2020 Earth-moving machinery—Electrical safety of machines utilizing electric drives and related components and systems—Part 2:Particular requirements for externally-powered machines
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 38943 specifies the specific safety requirements for the electrical systems and components of electrically powered earthmoving machinery (EMM) using external power.
This part applies to machines used outdoors, with a vehicle-mounted voltage ranging from 50 V to 36 kV for AC and 75 V to 36 kV for DC, including any repetitive rate pulsed DC.
The voltage inside the equipment is not the vehicle-mounted voltage, so it is not within the scope of this part.
This part is used in conjunction with GB/T 38943.1, which specifies the general requirements for electrically powered earthmoving machinery, and GB/T 38943.3, which specifies the specific requirements for self-propelled earthmoving machinery. For earthmoving machinery that has both self-powered and externally powered capabilities (such as battery-powered machines with built-in chargers and power supply functions), it should also comply with the requirements of GB/T 38943.3.
