GB/T 38943.1-2020 Earth-moving machinery—Electrical safety of machines utilizing electric drives and related components and systems—Part 1:General requirements
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 38943 specifies the safety requirements for the electrical equipment and components of earthmoving machinery defined in ISO 6165, as well as the safety of operators, technicians, service/maintenance personnel, and surrounding personnel.
This part applies to all-frequency AC electricity with a vehicle voltage ranging from 50 V to 36 kV, and DC electricity with a voltage ranging from 75 V to 36 kV (including pulsed DC electricity of all repetition rates) used outdoors. Unless otherwise specified as applicable only to high-voltage or low-voltage equipment, this part applies to both low- and high-voltage equipment. The voltage inside the equipment is not the vehicle voltage and is therefore not within the scope of this part.
Note 1: Special considerations are required for frequencies greater than 30 kHz. If the frequency used by the earthmoving machinery is higher than that in the referenced standard, it is the user's responsibility to assess the risks and handle them appropriately.
This part includes all major hazards, dangerous situations, and dangerous events related to voltage ranges within the scope of earthmoving machinery when used as intended or under misuse conditions reasonably foreseen by the manufacturer. This part specifies appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce the risks arising from major hazards, dangerous situations, or dangerous events during commissioning, operation, and maintenance. This part does not apply to machinery manufactured before its publication date.
This part is related to GB/T 38943.2 and GB/T 38943.3, which provide specific provisions for machine power supplies. The provisions in GB/T 38943.2 and GB/T 38943.3 shall be given priority. For multi-functional machinery, all parts of GB/T 38943 covering the specific functions and applications of the machinery shall be used.
This part specifies most of the hazards of earthmoving machinery using low- or high-voltage electrical syste
