Scope

This standard specifies the evaluation methods and indicators for the fuel consumption of passenger car models and the average fuel consumption of enterprises.
This standard applies to all M1 class vehicles with a maximum design total mass of not more than 3500 kg, including vehicles that can run on gasoline or diesel fuel, pure electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, and vehicles that run on gas fuel.
This standard does not apply to vehicles that only run on alcohol-ether fuels.
